The Provincial Evaluation Association organized a symposium on “University-Enterprise-Association” cooperation.

To implement the industry development plan, promote the integration of industry and education, foster collaborative talent cultivation, and facilitate a deeper understanding between universities and institutions of each other’s needs and strengths, the Provincial Appraisal Association recently organized a symposium on “University-Enterprise-Association” cooperation. The meeting was chaired by Li Jianping, President of the Jiangsu Province Asset Appraisal Association, and was attended by representatives from Nanjing Audit University, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, Nanjing University of Information Engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, and heads of several asset appraisal institutions.

Chairman Li Jianping pointed out that in recent years, the Provincial Appraisal Association has firmly established the concept of “grand finance,” consistently adhered to a strategy oriented toward serving national strategic needs, and actively promoted the implementation of industry-university-enterprise cooperation projects, achieving many highly effective results. The association has fostered collaborative efforts among industry, academia, and research institutions, encouraging asset appraisal firms to join forces with universities and research institutes in conducting joint research projects. It has also promoted deep integration between industry and education by recommending nearly 30 outstanding industry professionals to serve as off-campus graduate supervisors at universities such as Nanjing University of Finance & Economics and Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology. Furthermore, the association has organized industry experts to visit campuses and deliver lectures, enabling more college students to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and ensuring a steady influx of fresh talent into the sector. Through jointly organizing job fairs and other initiatives, the association has streamlined employment channels for college graduates, facilitating a precise match between industry needs and talented individuals.

The participants took turns to speak, expressing their gratitude for the communication and exchange platform provided by the Provincial Appraisal Association. Representatives from various universities shared information on their teaching and research activities in asset appraisal-related fields, as well as their internship and employment needs and typical best practices. Heads of different institutions exchanged views on talent requirements and training programs, and engaged in an in-depth discussion on how to further advance “university-enterprise-association” cooperation, putting forward targeted measures and suggestions.

Finally, Chairman Li Jianping delivered a concluding speech, emphasizing that as the market economy continues to deepen, the asset valuation industry is playing an increasingly important role in promoting optimal resource allocation and safeguarding economic security. Highly qualified professionals are the key to the industry’s development. Moving forward, we must adopt a strategic perspective aimed at fostering the industry’s healthy and sustainable development, strengthen top-level leadership and overall planning, and work closely with member organizations and higher education institutions to develop effective “university-enterprise-cooperation” initiatives. These initiatives should enhance the targeted nature and effectiveness of collaborative talent cultivation, and expand the depth and breadth of university-enterprise-cooperation partnerships.
