(1) Analysis of the Asset Valuation Firms Involved in Self-Disciplinary Sanctions
1. Regional Distribution of Asset Valuation Firms
From 2021 to 2023, a total of 123 instances of self-disciplinary sanctions were imposed on asset valuation agencies: 12 instances in 2021, 33 instances in 2022, and 78 instances in 2023. These sanctions were distributed across 28 regions, with the top three being Beijing, Guangdong (excluding Shenzhen), and Jiangsu.

2. Operating revenue of asset valuation agencies
Among the asset valuation agencies subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest number—62 instances—were those with annual revenues between 1 million and 5 million yuan; followed by asset valuation agencies with annual revenues below 1 million yuan, totaling 30 instances; and then by those with annual revenues exceeding 10 million yuan, numbering 16 instances.

3. The number of asset appraisers in asset appraisal institutions
Among the asset valuation agencies subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest number—69 instances—were those with five or fewer asset appraisers; followed by agencies with 5 to 10 appraisers, totaling 36 instances; and then agencies with 10 to 15 appraisers, totaling 12 instances.

4. The number of asset valuation reports issued by asset valuation agencies
Among the asset valuation agencies subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest number—45 instances—were those that issued between 10 and 50 reports; followed by agencies that issued 10 or fewer reports, with 39 instances; and then agencies that issued more than 100 reports, with 29 instances.

(2) Analysis of the Situation Involving Asset Appraisers Subject to Self-Disciplinary Sanctions
1. Regional distribution of asset appraisers
The self-disciplinary sanctions involved a total of 318 instances of asset appraisers: 36 instances in 2021, 101 instances in 2022, and 181 instances in 2023. These instances were distributed across 24 regions, with Beijing having the highest number at 40 instances; followed by Guangdong (excluding Shenzhen) with 30 instances; and then Shanghai with 27 instances.

2. Age distribution of asset appraisers
Among asset appraisers who have been subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest group is those aged 50 to 60, totaling 122 instances; followed by asset appraisers aged 40 to 50, with 87 instances; and then asset appraisers aged 30 to 40, with 65 instances.

3. Years of practice as an asset appraiser
Among asset appraisers who have been subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest group—103 instances—consists of appraisers with over 20 years of practice; followed by appraisers with less than 5 years of practice, totaling 79 instances; and then appraisers with 15 to 20 years of practice, numbering 48 instances.

4. Professional Experience of Asset Valuers
Among appraisers who have been subject to self-disciplinary sanctions, the largest number—69 instances—were those who had never changed firms. The next largest groups were appraisers who had changed firms three times and twice, with 46 and 44 instances respectively.

(3) Analysis of the Asset Valuation Reports Involved in Self-Disciplinary Sanctions
1. Regional Distribution of Asset Valuation Reports
The self-disciplinary sanctions involved a total of 420 assessment reports: 37 in 2021, 117 in 2022, and 266 in 2023. These reports were distributed across 27 regions, with Sichuan having the highest number at 54 reports; followed by Guangdong (excluding Shenzhen) with 52 reports; and then Beijing with 36 reports.

2. Types of Asset Valuation Reports
Among the types of business covered by self-disciplinary sanctions, asset valuation reports for corporate value accounted for the largest number, totaling 119 reports; followed by asset valuation reports for real estate and machinery and equipment, each accounting for 59 reports.
